Super Seal #52
Premium Clear Surface Sealer.

Waterproofing Sealer Non-Toxic,
Non Flammable Mold and Mildew Resistant,
Dries Clear.

Super Seal is a specially formulated waterborne water repellent coating for just about any surface. Its special formulation provides an alternative to the solvent-based water repellent coatings that contain silicone and waxes. Super Seal provides excellent sealing and water-beading properties, reduces water absorption and allows wood to expand and contract naturally without flaking or peeling. Super Seal provides superior breathing properties and is VOC compliant. Unlike most other clear coatings, this coating may be painted over with latex or oil base paints. Meets ASTM D4446 specification pertaining to swelling of wood and Federal Specification SSW-110 C for water repellency.

The surface should be clean: dry and free from all dirt, grease, oils, waxes, mildew, curing agents, and other surface contaminants that may cause coating failure. Remove all loose and peeling paint and lightly sand glossy surfaces. Super Seal is supplied ready to use. DO NOT THIN. Mix thoroughly prior to use. Easily applied with a quality brush, roller, airless spray and low pressure hand pump sprayer. Always apply material to test panel prior to general application.

Vertical Surfaces: Start first coat application at the top of the area to be coated. Apply flood coat with a 6"-8" rundown and back-roll material into surface voids. Apply second coat before the first coat dries completely to insure complete saturation of the surface. Remove excess material with a clean dry roller.

Horizontal Surfaces: Apply 2 wet on wet coats. The first coat should be applied until the surface is saturated to create a deep bond. The second coat can be a lighter application since the pores of the surface are already filled. Remove excess standing or ponding material with a clean dry roller.
